Саамская молодежь обсудила свое будущее и предложила много идей\Sami youth discussed their future and offered many ideas

В минувшие выходные (29-30 января 2011) в Ловозере прошел семинар «Будущее саамской культуры глазами молодежи». Участниками ее стали саамские юноши и девушки из Ковдора, Йоны, Оленегорска, Мурманска, Ревды и Ловозера, Апатитов, Кировска, Мончегорска, а также представители взрослого населения.
Современная молодежь зачастую воспринимает традиции национальной культуры как музейные экспонаты. Кроме того, получая поддержку при поступлении в ВУЗы, ребята фактически не могут устроиться на работу по месту своего жительства. Это приводит к тому, что образованная молодежь не формирует саамское научное сообщество, которое приняло бы участие в квалифицированном решении местных проблем. В результате, круг замыкается: для решения национальных вопросов привлекаются специалисты извне, а собственный потенциал уходит, и традиции культуры не продолжаются. Об этом и многом другом говорили участники семинара.
Во второй части семинара были организованы «рабочие мастерские» - участники разбились на несколько групп и вместе с модераторами пытались найти решение обозначенных проблем. В числе обсуждаемых тем были вопросы участия молодежи в процессе возрождения языка и культуры, перечень специалистов и специальностей, необходимых саамскому сообществу, возможность развития культуры с помощью современных технологий и другие. Дискуссия получилась активной и довольно эффективной – по каждой из обозначенных проблем ребята предложили около двух десятков решений или идей. Они касались создания рабочих мест для молодежи из числа саами, популяризации культуры с использованием социальных сетей в Интернете, издания аудио- и видеопособий.
По итогам семинара будет составлен комплекс обобщенных предложений, после чего его направят в областную Думу и региональную Общественную палату.

Last weekend (29-30 of January 2011) in Lovozero was seminar "The Future of the Sami culture through the eyes of young people." Participants it became Sami boys and girls from Kovdor, Yona, Olenegorsk, Murmansk and Lovozero Revda, Apatity, Kirovsk, Monchegorsk, as well as representatives of the adult population.

Today's youth are often perceived tradition of national culture as museum exhibits. In addition, receiving support for admission to universities, the guys can not actually get a job at their place of residence. This leads to the fact that the educated youth do not form Sami scientific community that would participate in a qualified local problems. As a result, the circle closes: to solve the national issues involved experts from outside, but goes its own potential, and cultural traditions can not be extended. On this and many other participants said the workshop. In the second part of the workshop were organized by "working workshop" - the participants broke up into several groups and with the moderators tried to find a solution to the problems identified. Among the topics discussed were the issues of youth participation in the renaissance of language and culture, a list of specialists and specialties required Sami community, the possibility of cultural development with the help of modern technology, and others. Discussion was active and quite effective - for each of the identified problems guys suggested about two dozen solutions or ideas.They concerned the creation of jobs for young Sami, promote a culture of using online social networks, publications and audio-video tutorials. The seminar will be drawn up a set of generalized proposals, after which it will send to the regional Duma, and regional public chambers.

"Дорогие друзья,13 сентября 2010 года будет отмечаться третья годовщина принятия Декларации о правах коренных народов Генеральной Ассамблеей Организации Объединённых Наций.

Вместе с тем, коренные народы во всех уголках мира продолжают лишаться своих прав. Таким образом, наши права на самоопределение,землю, ресурсы, образование, природные богатсва, культуру по-прежнему ущемляются.

Мы твёрдо придерживаемся Декларации о правах коренных народов и вновь подтверждаем, что Декларация – правомерная база для осуществления прав коренных народов.

В связи с этим, советы старейшин в Западном Папуа и Малуку предприняли инициативу по организации всемирного обращения коренных народов с призывом признать и осуществить Декларацию о правах коренных народов.

13 сентября 2010 года подходящее время для обращения к государствам и правительствам с призывом незамедлительного осуществления Декларации. Каждый коренной народ или нация составляет меморандум с изложением ситуации в своей стране и отправляет соответствующему правительству этот меморандум/обращение с призывом признать, одобрить и осуществить Декларацию.

Одновременно 13 сентября 2010 г. Всемирное обращение будет сопровождаться барабанной церемонией коренных народов.

Мы просим вас принять участие в этом мероприятии. Присоединяйтесь к всемирной барабанной церемонии с ваших родовых поселений или где бы вы ни находились.

Барабанная дробь или же выступление с игрой на традиционном инструменте усилит голос и призыв коренных народов.

Давайте же действовать вместе для того, чтобы эта церемония прошла успешно.

Давайте же сделаем так, чтобы 13 сентября 2010 г. голос коренных народов услышали во всём мире с севера на восток, на юг и на запад, на протяжении целого дня от восхода до заката солнц .

Саамские летние игры в Ловозеро, Принятие в члены Самь Нураш! 15 человек присоеденились к нам.

13th of June 2010 Sami Nuraš was arranging the action during the Summer Games Festival to involve more Sami Youth from Lujavvr to participate in the activity of organization, 15 young Sami people joined the membership of the organization and expressed an interest in promoting Sami youth issues in Russia and across the borders.

Sami Nuraš express gratitude to the National Cultural Centre in Lovozero and the The head of the Centre Tatiana Sechko in particular for providing the opportunity to arrange the following event.

На площади Им. Кирова состоялся Митинг по защите прав Саами. На митинге поднимались вопросы о гарантиях и правах Коренных народов, а так же о Защите прав Человека.

Члены Самь Нураш так же принимали участие в ходе этого мероприятия.
The street action to protect Sami rights and freedoms, 5th of June, Murmansk

The following streetaction had its purpose to stop the pressure on Sami people. And the Sami people publicly spoke up about the problems in the Murmansk region, such as humiliation of Sami leaders through media and the problem of territorial rights for reindeerherding.

Nadezhda Ljashenko is a leader of reindeer herding commune that was closed because the regional authorities gave to that organization "Chistye Ruchyi \ Clean Brooks" the territories for the reindeer pasture on the other part of Kola Peninsula from thousand miles from their houses, so that appeared to be impossible to use this territories in practice.

On 24th of April 2010 in terms of the cultural event “Norske Dager i Murmansk ”, supported by the Ministry of foreign affairs of Norway and engaged by the organization “Pikene på Broen” (Kirkenes) was held the double concert of Doulva Duottar (Finmark) and Nogu Svelo (Moscow).

Terrific performance of Duolva Duottar with its explosive energy of Hip Hop rhythm and expressive jojjk

impressed the astonished public. The Murmansk audience will hardly forget and recover from amazing feeling of perceiving the flow of Sami energy and stroke of its positive vibrancies!

Sami Nurash express gratitude to: the Ministry of foreign affairs of Norway for providing the opportunity to hold “Norske Dager i Murmansk ”, “Pikene på Broen” (Kirkenes) for fruitful work under good organization of the event, Egorova Evgenia in particular for involving the Sami audience from the Russian part of Sapmi and Duolva Duottar for participating and giving splendid performance in the Sami land of Russia!

Warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Sami spirit was the main feature of the event! Besides, the Russian audience had the chance to learn more about Sami world.

”Developing the cooperation between Sami youth and youth environmental NGOs in Lapland and the Murmansk region”:

Study trip: 31.1.-11.2.2010

The following project is the result of cooperation between Sami Nurash and PIM (Murmansk Youth Environmental Organisations) . The project consisted of study trip to Finland and Sweden in order to develop cooperation with Northern institutions and NGOs.

Organisations visited in the Nordic countries:

Skabmagovat film festival, Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, Jokkmokk Winter Conference, the Sami Education Centre in Jokkmokk, County Administrative Board of Norrbotten, Luonto-Liitto, Giellagas Institute at Oulu University, Council of Oulu Region, Greens in Lapland, Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, Arctic Centre of Rovaniemi University. We also met representatives of Finnish and Swedish Sámi Nuorat, Fältbiologerna, the Swedish Sami Parliament, student club GieKu, and the Association Finland-Russia in Oulu.

Both Saami Nurash and PiM have became better known in Sweden and Finland as a result of this visit. We have presented our organisations to more than 50 people (students, authorities and NGO representatives), and our visit got attention in regional media both in Finland and Sweden. For Saami Nurash as a new organisation it was very important to get this chance to inform about our existence to as many people and stakeholders as possible. At the same time, we have established a whole new network in Sweden and Finland, including NGOs, educational institutions, authorities and media.

Sami Nurash is a newly established organization that appeared in November 2009. It is relevant for us to develop our skills in cooperation with other more experienced organizations. The knowledge gained throughout the corresponding project will definitely benefit the future work of Sami Nurash organization.

The experience of interaction between Sami Nurash and PIM gave us the first insights into relationship between Russian and Saami societies in Russian Federation, besides, it helped our organization to fulfil one of our main aims – to promote the information about Saami issues in cooperation with Russian NGO’s to let know about cultural identity and position of Indigenous People of the Kola Peninsula. We will continue cooperating in the range of matters.
